Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This policy applies to the QR Scanner Android application (package dev.bluefuture.x.qr) published on Google Play by BlueFuture, and to the companion website at the domain where this page is hosted.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
QR Scanner does not require an account and does not operate a BlueFuture cloud sync service for end-user content. Primary app data stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
3. On-Device Data
The following data may be created and stored locally on your device:
- Scan and create history (payload text, type, timestamps)
- Favorite markers and user preferences
- Exported CSV files you choose to share
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it. Uninstalling the app removes associated local data.
4. Android Permissions
Depending on the feature set, the app may request:

5. Third-party services and SDKs
The App may include:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Used to display advertisements in applicable Play builds. Google may collect device and usage data as described in Google’s policies. Where required, the App requests consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) before initializing ads.
The companion marketing website is hosted on Firebase Hosting and publishes ads.txt / app-ads.txt for AdMob domain verification. The static pages do not embed ad beacons themselves.
6. Firebase Hosting & Google Play
The app is distributed through Google Play, which may collect standard device and usage statistics according to Google's Privacy Policy. The companion website is hosted on Firebase Hosting. Firebase Hosting may log standard web server access logs (IP address, browser, referring URL) as described in Firebase's Privacy Policy. These logs are not linked to your in-app content.
7. Children's Privacy
QR Scanner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Locally stored app data remains until you delete it inside the app or uninstall the app. Google advertising / Play retention is governed by Google’s controls and policies.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
